A semi-outline-semi-swash Gothic logo based on the frame idea was also proposed, taking the speech bubbles into quirkily expressive letters. This and the brown/black/white colour scheme had a Lubalin Eros magazine feel, where medieval-style lettering was made modern through bold use of colour and layout. It gave One Dove a really unique graphic identity, unfortunately only explored in follow-up single ‘Transient Truth’. via the Alias Blog
